No team-building workshops here
At The Royals, we have action-packed all-agency adventures. We’ve been ‘laxing in Lorne (2020), took time out in Tasmania (2019) and went glamping in the King Valley (2018). Our annual three-day Royals UNconference serves to celebrate our successes as a team, gives us all some time to unwind and lets us live our #mostinterested ethos to the full.
Lil Wayne's world
In Melbourne and Sydney, all our meeting rooms are named after celebrities who’ve been arrested more than five times - Martin Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, Snoop Dogg and Winona Ryder to name a few. The newest member of this motley crew is Lil Wayne, a pop top Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo campervan that calls our Melbourne carpark home. Because we like to use the things our clients produce, we get behind the wheel to head to client meetings - and Lil Wayne is also available for Royals to book out for weekend road trips.
Go bigger in Texas
Each year at the Christmas party, one very lucky Royal wins a trip to SXSW in Austin, Texas. Our winner tends to have the time of their life in terms of the number of tacos consumed - the current average is eight a day, - and the number of extremely epic events and transformative talks attended. That could be you in 2021, if you’re keen.
Where the magic happens
We opened our Melbourne office in a Cremorne warehouse in 2011, and did what any ‘normal’ business would do with the excess space - built an office chair racetrack! Now, the place is filled with beautiful Royals and features a boardroom hidden behind a bookshelf.
We opened our Sydney office in Surry Hills in 2014 and filled it with lots of mid-century furniture and a boardroom table made from a high school basketball court. When you visit, make sure you spend some time out on the rooftop deck.
